It's Not All About you Babe!
“ . . .and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.” - 2 Corinthians 5:15 ESV
When my husband would come home from work grumpy, I would jump to the conclusion that I had done something to make him grumpy. He would tell me, “It’s not all about you Babe.” When I was upset about my husband dying, I would hear his words, “It’s not all about you Babe.” God didn’t allow him to suffer or lose his faith. Again, when in my grief journey I just didn’t want to go on, I would hear, “It’s not all about you Babe.” It is about living for God by living for my children and others.
The same is true for all of us in our faith journey, “It’s not all about you babe.” It is about living for God. What does living for God mean to you? Pray, Read the Bible, spend time with God (quiet still time is the hardest). How does God want you to live? What does God want you to do? And the adventure awaits!
