Faith, Hope, & Love

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. ~1 Corinthians 13:13

With February already wrapping up quickly, I thought we should talk about love. The Bible explains love in 1 Corinthians 13:1-13. It talks about how love is patient and kind. It does not boast or envy. Love keeps no record of wrongs and is always hopeful.

Sometimes we are hard to love. We sin. We get angry and say things we regret, but God always loves and forgives us. His love is so big! His love is unimaginable! God loves us with agape love, a beautiful selfless love, given to us freely and even when we do not deserve it. God tells us how He wants us to show others love.

Love in Action (John 15:12-13):  "This is my command:  Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this:  to lay down one's life for one's friends."

So, go out and show love to one another, not just on Valentine's Day, but from this day forward. Love like Jesus!

Lots of love and prayers,

Anna Seifert
