Day 4 - Leper
"And a leper came to Him and bowed down before Him, and said, 'Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.' Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, 'I am willing; be cleansed;' And immediately his leprosy was cleansed."
-Matthew 8:2-3 NASB
Lord, if you are willing, heal my ribs. Lord, if you are willing, heal my core muscles. In this instance the Lord was willing. Is this doubt on my part? The inclusion of God's Will as a condition of my healing? I read various commentaries on this verse. One thing that is sure is God's love and mercy for each of us. In essence when we ask for healing, we are throwing ourselves on God's mercy.
So pray for healing with confidence. Pray as if throwing yourself on the mercy of God. Pray the prayer, thy will be done. God has only our best in mind.
